On Thursday, the 8th of February, Dr Rose Marie Prosser commenced giving the Scripture Series to 20 parishioners of the Holy Family Parish.

As background, Dr Prosser discussed the various theories written about a person’s developmental needs in different stages/experiences over life. She explained how and why our behaviour is largely governed by our upbringing. If we acknowledge and appreciate these complexities, then we have a powerful tool to help us be more mindful and thoughtful in our words and deeds; and also understand other people’s conduct or decisions. The purpose of this was to show that our approach to scripture is also governed by our identity.
